Bespoke Performance

The labor is ritualistic in its motions, and intense and obsessive in the time spent. This performance and the subsequent sculpture commentates on my own sense of belonging, or lack thereof, and endlessly working for perfection towards an unseen goal making oneself feel entrapped.

Success

Success is the desired accomplishment of a goal; and in life there is a pressure to succeed. In this work I let my ambition get the better of me by letting my desire to succeed take hold

and ultimately fail at every turn in the making of this sculpture and performance. This ironic performance commentates on my own mixed feelings towards what success means.
